Coaches

• Coach Martinez is a Special Education teacher who works with students with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and coaches Cross Country and baseball at Centennial High School.   Coach Martinez has coached the Centennial Cross Team since the Fall of 2015.  During that time the Bulldogs have won 5 NIAA State Championships ( 2-Men, 3-Women) and 7 NIAA Region Championships (3-Men, 4-Women).  Martinez has been coaching in the Clark County School District since 2005. 

• Coach Martinez has been named Coach of the year 12 times during his coaching 20 year Coaching Career:

2007- American Legion Coach of the Year (Baseball)

2012- Northwest Division Coach of the Year (Baseball)

2013- Connie Mack Coach of the Year (Baseball)

2018- American Legion Coach of the Year (Baseball)

2018- Men's 4A Cross Country Coach of the Year

2018- Women's 4A Cross Country Coach of the Year

2018- USTFCCA Nevada Coach of the Year

2019- Las Vegas Sun Standout Coach of the Year

2019- Men's 4A Cross Country Coach of the Year

2019- USTFCCA Nevada Coach of the Year

2021- Men's 5A Cross Country Coach of the Year

2025- 5A Mountain Region Coach of the Year (Baseball)

• Coach Martinez has also been Head Coach or on Staff of 9 State Championship Teams
