2025 Red Rock Running Company Invitational 

Saturday, August 23rd @ James Regional Sports Park- 8400 W Robindale Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89113 

We will use a rolling schedule, times listed below are approximate start times.  

Once the last kid finishes and the clock is reset, the next race will begin.  

Schedule:

6:45pm- Boys New Comer Race (1.65 Miles)

7:15pm- Girls New Comer Race (1.65 Miles)

7:45pm- Boys South of Sahara (3.1 Miles)

8:15pm- Boys North of Sahara (3.1 Miles)

8:45pm- Girls South of Sahara (3.1 Miles)

9:15pm- Girls North of Sahara (3.1 Miles)

Race Divisions: Enter any first year XC athlete into the Newcomer division regardless of grade.  All returning XC athletes will be entered into the race based upon their school’s location: North of Sahara or South of Sahara.

Entries:  $8 per athlete to cover the cost of timing and athletic trainer.  Entry fee is paid online via Athletic.net prior to the meet using a credit card.  This is the ONLY way to pay your entry fees, checks & cash will NOT be accepted. Entries and payment are due into Athletic.net by 9pm on Wednesday, August 20th.

Race Course:  Newcomers course is approx. 1.75 miles long.  Varsity course is 5k long. Course consists of Grass, paved road & small dirt paths.  

Awards:  Medals to the top 20 in each race and trophies to the top 2 teams in each race.  Medals will be handed out in the chute and trophies can be picked up at the timing tent after results have been posted. Thank you to Red Rock Running Company for supplying the awards for today’s meet.

Please note this is a public park and there is the possibility of fisherman, dog walkers, horseback riders, Boy Scout troops, homeless people, recreational joggers, etc… being at the park during our races.  Every effort will be made to ensure the course is clear while the athletes are running. Please tell your athletes to pay attention when they are running, do not swim or play in the ponds, do not feed the animals or homeless people and do not chase the ducks, geese & peacocks.  Thank you!
