Can You Do These Math Problems?
Make a Venn diagram and compare and contrast primary and secondary succession.
Go through your notes on water. Make you know the difference between oligotrophic and euthrophic lakes, what an artesian wells is, the difference between confined and unconfined aquifers, levees and dikes, the Ogallala Aquifer, what happened in the Aral Sea, gray water, what a watershed is, brackish water, different irrigation techniques, definition of a water table, and the percentages different sectors are using Earth's freshwater.
Go through chapter 7 and your human population notes. Make sure you know TFR, replacement level fertility, emigration and immigration, reasons why the human population growth rate might increase or decrease, what a population growth pyramid looks like when the population is increasing or decreasing or stabilizing, and human's impact on the environment (IPAT).

Download, print, and complete the Chapter 8 Structured Notes. Use the Chapter 8 Slide deck to find the answers.
Print and cut the terms out. Arrange them on your table as if you were building a concept map. Transfer the order and organization of your concept mapping cards into your notebook as an actual concept map with terms, connecting phrases, and definitions. Draw the concept map with pencils.
