Students can choose from 2D Art & Design, 3D Art & Design, or Drawing as their focus in their advanced placement course of study. In the AP Art & Design courses, students practice and develop skills in investigation, experimentation, and communication. Students investigate the materials, processes, and ideas that artists and designers use; practice, experiment, and revise as they create their own work; and communicate their ideas about works of art and design. Throughout this intensive course, students create a portfolio of college-level work and submit it to the AP Board for evaluation.
