Sarah (she/her) is a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work, specializing in Indigenous-focused studies. She has additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Counselling. For the past 5 years, Sarah has worked with children, youth and their families supporting their unique mental health needs in a community setting. Her approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering an environment where they can feel safe, understood and empowered to overcome their obstacles.
Outside of her professional life, she is a parent to two wonderful children and a caretaker and foster parent to two sweet dogs. Sarah finds joy in physical activity and practices mindfulness to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. These personal interests inform her therapeutic approach, as she is passionate about the importance of holistic well-being and the integration of mind and body practices in therapy.
Her goal is to help clients build resilience, develop practical solutions to their challenges and achieve a sense of well-being. She looks forward to partnering with you on this journey towards healing and growth.
