Create a drum track and pick a suitable drum sound.

Create a MIDI region by right-clicking in the track and stretch this out for one bar.

Programme in the drum pattern from the worksheet as shown below.

Create a new track and pick a suitable sound for the chords. Try a Synthesiser sound and choose one of the Pads.

Create a MIDI region by right-clicking in the track and stretch this out for two bars.

Programme in the first chord (D) as shown below, or you can record it in with the metronome. 

Do the same for the other three chords (remember you can cut and paste the G chord as it appears twice ie. D, G, A, G)

Create a new track and pick a suitable sound for the bass guitar. 

Create a MIDI region by right-clicking in the track and stretch this out for eight bars (upto number 9).

Programme in the bass line as shown below.

Once complete you should have something that looks like below. 

Try adjusting some of the volumes of the tracks to balance out.
