The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the revealed Word of God, fully and verbally inspired of God. We believe the Scriptures to be the inerrant, infallible Word of God, as found within the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation. We believe that God not only inspired every word, but that He has preserved them through the ages. We believe that the King James Version is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people and is the only acceptable translation to be used in this church.
Ps 12:6–7; 2Tim 3:15-17; 1Pet 1:23-25; 2Pet 1:19-21
The Person of God:
We believe God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, and absolute in His attributes. We believe in the Trinity.
Rom 1:2-4; Eph 4:3-6; 1Jn 5:7
The Person of Jesus Christ:
We believe in the eternal Sonship of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His deity and sinless life, His death, His burial, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and in His premillennial return.
Jn 1:1; Lu 1:35
The Person of the Holy Spirit:
We believe the Holy Spirit executes the plan of God for our conviction, salvation, and growth in grace. Believers are indwelt permanently by the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation. Believers are filled and empowered for service by Him as they yield themselves to the Lord and His word.
Jn 14:16; Eph 1:13; 5:18
The Fall of Man:
We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin and death, thus causing every person to be born with a sinful nature and condemnation to eternal judgment. We reject Calvinism and Arminianism...we are Bible believing Christians!
Gen 1:27; Rom 3:23; 5:12-19; Eph.2:1-3
The Salvation of Sinners:
We believe salvation is only by grace through faith, and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Salvation is not by works.
Jn 3:16; 10:28; Eph 2:8-9
The Security of the Believer:
We believe that those who accept Christ are eternally secure, and that our salvation rests on the finished work of Christ. Once you're saved, you're always saved.
Jn 10:27-30; Heb 6:18-19
The Doctrine of The Church:
We believe the local church is an organized group of born again believers to observe: Baptism and the Lord's supper gathered together to carry out the great commission.
Mt 28:19,20; Eph 1:22,23
The Doctrine of Heaven and Hell:
We believe in the eternal joy of the saved in heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in hell.
Mk 9:42-50; 2Cor 5:6-8; Lk 16:19-31;Rev 20:14; 21:4
The Doctrine of Future Events:
We believe in the pre-tribulation ( ...by tribulation, it is meant - Daniel's 70th Week/Jacobs Trouble) rapture of the bride of Christ and the Pre-Millennial return of Jesus Christ and a literal 1,000 yr. reign of Christ on this earth preceding the "new heaven" and "new earth" in eternity.
