Learn to use databases now and you will thank us when you work on your college projects sitting in your pajamas in your dorm. The links to the databases our school subscribes to are also available on the home page of our Catalog.

All databases require a username and password to access outside of the school network. When you are on a school issued device, you will connect automatically.

General Research

Britannica School is a good place to start your research. It contains multiple resource options including articles, media, biographies, primary sources and an interactive world atlas. This site also offers other tools such as a guide on planning your research project as well as how to write a book review, lab report and prepare for an oral presentation.

Magazines, Newspapers, Journals

EBSCO offers a number of databases designed for K-12 schools and academic libraries; as well as databases about health, education, the environment, and business. You will also find Novelist here which offers information on various novels.
