HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (HEAP) federally funded energy assistance program to help low-income families meet their home energy costs. The HEAP program consists of three components – Regular HEAP, Emergency HEAP and Heating Equipment Repair and Replacement.

MEDICAL RESOURCES
Assumption Church's Poverello Health Center offers FREE medical care to people without medical insurance in the CNY area. It is staffed by volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses, as well as a chiropractor and optometrist by appointment. Physical examinations for pre-employment and college/vocational schools are available by appointment only.
The Health Center provides clients with Prescription Assistance through various pharmaceutical companies. Diabetic Teaching, Dietary Counseling, Social Service Counseling and Hypertension Monitoring are also offered.
Hours: MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY: 5-7 PM (or 6-8 PM depending on availability of medical volunteers)
