We require each student in Kindergarten, 1st and 3rd grades as well as students new to the district to have an updated physical examination by their primary care provider. For the 2024-2025 school year, a physical dated September 7th, 2023, or later, is acceptable. If the Health Office does not receive a physical exam, the student will be scheduled for a school physical with a Board Certified Provider. It is recommended that all students receive a physical exam yearly by their primary care provider. 

Annual health screenings will begin mid September for all students in Kindergarten, 1st and 3rd grades as well as students new to the district. Screenings consist of a hearing exam and near and far vision assessment. Students who are new to the district will also have an initial screenings including color vision testing. A referral letter will be sent home with any students requiring medical follow up.
