Picking a college was definitely something that took a lot of time, careful consideration, and a lot of different decision making. Like any major change in your life you must make sure to weigh out all your options completely, but in the end just trust your gut because it's normally right. After months of consideration I finally landed on what truly felt like home: Vanderbilt University. When I went to Nashville I immediately felt like I was where I was meant to be, in a big city with endless opportunities and resources surrounding me to help me be successful in life, the academics and athletics balancing each other out perfectly. As always, my family was in constant support of me always and I'm so grateful for them being there for me through every step of the process. With my passion for lacrosse being so grand I plan to play Division 1 lacrosse there while continuing my academic studies. Through my continuous love of sports and working with kids I plan to major in biological sciences and minor in business where I hope to either become a sports medicine physicians assistant or pediatric physicians assistant.
With noticing an impact like Keith's at my school at CNS I plan to carry out a similar role at Vanderbilt. I can use my technological resources to advance my studies in my schoolwork and hopefully make a lasting impact among the school community there. I'll do this by never letting my competitive and creative side of me die out and continuing to push myself to be the best I can be in every aspect of life. I will make sure to know that it's okay to be comfortable being uncomfortable and I will make sure that the ones around me know that too. Family and friends around you are the ones that stick beside you through it all so I will make sure to keep them close and tell them how much I appreciate them. By keeping all this in mind the next step for me isn't one that I'm afraid to take, it's one that I'm so excited and ready for. Ready to make an impact, leave a legacy, and make great moments.
