🦷 The Healthy Smiles Dental Program was a success with over 40 students visiting the dentist. This program is at no cost to you and consists of an on-site exam, cleaning, fluoride treatment and sealant if all teeth are in. Each child returns home with a certificate. A non-urgent or urgent referral will be sent home for students who require further dental treatment. See the Forms tab for information on local dentists.
👖🩲 Gratefully seeking donations of new girls underwear and gently used boys pants.
💊Per district policy, please do not send any medication, including inhalers or cough drops, in your child's bag. All medications must be delivered to the nurse by an adult, and your signature will be obtained. Annually, a new medication order is required from your child's provider.
🩺Physical Exams: NYS requires all students entering K, 1st and 3rd grades, along with new students, to have an updated physical exam. Please send these documents as they are completed, by fax (315-218-2686) or e-mail at LRENurses@nscsd.org.
We strongly encourage students to have spare clothing at school, in the event they need to change. Our supply in the Health Office is limited.👗👕
🚨 FYI, nursing services and/or health office medications are not available after school hours or during PTO sponsored events. In the event of an emergency, 911 would be called.
