🌺🌼June Updates 🌷🌸
I will be out of the office from July to late August, but will do my best to respond timely to emails. Please reach out to the Main Office with any urgent needs. 👩⚕️
🦷 The Healthy Smiles dental program will be delayed until next school year, due to issues with scheduling and mobilization. The program is preparing now to ensure a smooth and timely launch for the fall. This program is at no cost to you and consists of on-site dental care including exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants and more. Consents have been sent home. Please reach out for more information.
End of Year Medication Pick up: All meds must be picked up by an adult, prior to the last day of school. Please plan to pick up medications during school hours, between Friday 6/20 and Thursday 6/26. Leftover medications will be discarded per district protocol. 💊
We strongly encourage students to have spare clothing at school, in the event they need to change. Our supply in the Health Office is limited.👗👕
🚨 FYI, nursing services and/or health office medications are not available after school hours or during PTO sponsored events. In the event of an emergency, 911 would be called.
Preparing for Next Year: Each school year, updated documentation is required for Medication Orders and/or Action Plans for students with a diagnosis of Allergies, Asthma, Seizures or Diabetes. Please connect with your child's provider to obtain these documents before the start of school. You may fax or email documents at any time and may drop medications off in late August. 📋
🩺Physical Exams: NYS requires all students entering K, 1st and 3rd grades to have an updated physical exam. Please send these documents as they are completed, by fax (315-218-2686) or e-mail at LRENurses@nscsd.org.
