* Digraphs ch and wh brothers A digraph is a consonant sound which cannot be represented by any single letter in our alphabet. We call these digraph H-Brother. The first h-brother's name is ch. His favorite toy is a train. He plays with is train making the choo-choo sound. The second h-brother is wh. Wh dresses up like a policeman because he wasn't to be a traffic policeman. He holds his hand up and tries to whistle to stop traffic.

He sticks out his tongue and makes his sound /th/ like in the word thin. SH is the oldest brother. He tells his three younger brothers to /sh/ like in the word hush
