About Mrs. Kelsey

Mrs. Kelsey is proud to be the Peaslee School librarian. She has been a lifelong, avid reader and is so happy to have the opportunity to bring her love of books to the students. Before becoming the school librarian in 2017, Mrs. Kelsey was a classroom teacher for 20 years! She taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade during her teaching career (with the most years spent teaching 5th grade). Mrs. Kelsey enjoys reading many different types of books, but especially loves historical fiction and biographies.

When Mrs. Kelsey is not at Peaslee School, she enjoys spending time with her two children, husband, and two dogs. Her favorite way to relax is on the beach with a good book or in her porch hammock (also with a good book!)
