In an ideal world, tuition-charging private , tuition-based schools would not be necessary to ensure each student in America receives a high quality education. Some day, we hope that free public schools will come in different sizes, will allow for more personalized education, will listen more to teachers and provide them with all the support they need, and will be run more out of a desire to serve kids-- and less out of a desire to avoid lawsuits. Some day.
Until that day, North Star Academy will turn to you, the public, to privately support our mission and to bring costs down for our students and their families. Our goal is to always be accessible to students from all economic backgrounds. We know that is a big goal. And we rely on your generosity to help us fulfill it.
We welcome you to make a financial donation to the general operation of our school for use at our discretion. Ultimately, any cost defrayed by your generosity is a cost we don't need to pass along to our students and/or becomes money we can spend on enhancing the quality of the education we provide here. Literally no amount is too small!
Direct donations ensure that 100% of your gift is used by the school and students. A small percentage of your donation through GoFundMe is kept by the wonderful GoFundMe people.
Contact Beth at bdanesco@ns-acad.org to discuss your direct donation, or donate through our GoFundMe site of it is more convenient.
Do you have items you think our school could use? Sports equipment, musical instruments, technology, office supplies, gift cards... snacks? If you've got something you think we can use, let's talk!

Nothing is more valuable to our students than time spent with caring and knowlegable adults. If you have a skill - or just want to support us in the classroom or front office - let's talk!

We welcome you to make a financial donation to help students and families reduce the cost of tuition. Although we strive to keep tuition costs lower than most other private schools, the cost of attending may be still too much for some prospective students without a scholarship.
You can also donate for a specific item or task, such as a field trip, sports equipment, furniture, technology items, or anything else that would enhance our students' education or well-being.
