What is our Portrait of a Nashoba Graduate?
The Portrait of a Nashoba Graduate describes the essential skills and attributes that our community has identified every student should develop before they leave Nashoba. Our Portrait identifies the competencies, traits, learning behaviors, and habits of mind that prepare students for success in school and in life. These expectations guide our work across all grade levels and help ensure that each student grows as a responsible citizen, a thoughtful learner, and a confident communicator.
How Do These Competencies Connect Across K-12?
The Portrait of a Nashoba Graduate competencies are woven through every stage of a student’s academic journey - not only as goals for high school graduation, but as skills nurtured from the earliest grades. Together, the K–8 and 9–12 experiences create a continuous pathway that supports growth, independence, and readiness for college, careers, and citizenship.
