North Queens Community High School is a transfer high school committed to helping students earn their high school diploma, learn more about themselves, and explore their leadership potential. Partnerships between school, families, and community-based organizations in Queens are at the core of our learning environment. Our school respects the individual needs of each student, and through small class sizes and student-centered learning, students can achieve their personal and academic goals.
We accept students who meet the following criteria:
Are at least 16 years old
Have been enrolled in any New York City high school
Have been truant or have dropped out of school
Are ready to commit to a school that will support them in achieving their high school diploma and creating a post-graduation plan
Interested Students Must Bring:
Current transcript
Recent report card
RISA (Department of Education attendance record)
Current immunization record (including TDAPT vaccine)
Proof of address
