Harvard College Writing Center: Good for carrying you through the writing process, from ideation, to draft, to final copy. 

The University of Michigan Sweetland Center for Writing: Features style guides on topics like, "How do I make a  great title?" and "How do I write a strong thesis?"

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Writing Center: Wide-ranging and tools, including ones that cover grammar and how to write in specific fields or contexts. 

Grammarly: A grammar-checking software that explains the corrections it suggests, so you can learn while you edit. (Requires sign-up and installation.)
