To allow teachers and counselors to better assist our students plan their course requests and 4-year plans we ask students to complete career interest surveys. Students that have not completed their interest survey should see their Cougar Mentor teacher for a link.

Course listed above in yellow will begin a pathway. Courses in white will introduce students to the pathway but will not count for the 3 required courses for pathway completion.

CTE refers to coursework organized into pathways that lead students to careers of their choice. New Prairie High School offers several career pathways, many of which are in the guide linked to the left. What do you want to be when you grow up? Honestly answer that question and then check out the guide for more information on career opportunities, education options, and projected salaries for selected careers.
