Starting in the Spring of 2018 our weight room facility went through a massive remodel. Through the funds of a school-wide referendum and the amazing support of our coaching staff, administration, and school board, the complete renovation and equipping of our new facility was completed before the start of the 2018 school year.
Our original space was an old middle school cafeteria that was filled with equipment and had approximately 1,700 square feet of usable space. During the remodel, there were walls, choir risers, and dropped ceilings removed. This opened up the space for our remodel and new equipment and flooring.
"The Refinery" is now over 4,500 square feet and houses six full power racks, six half power racks, 12 total Olympic inlaid platforms, 6 dual adjustable cable pulley machines, sets of spin bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, and selectorized strength cable machines. The room is also outfitted with the latest in technology, including surround sound, flat-screen TVs, as well as a video projector.
Thanks to all the people who helped support and believe in the project.
