Slides Recording allows you to record a presentation from Google Slides. No third party tool necessary! To record your slideshow, click Rec at the top right of the toolbar. Look below your profile picture for the Rec button.
Click Record new video.
You will see your slides along with a speaker spotlight video. You can change the position and size of the picture in picture. You can open your speaker notes. You can blur your background. You can also turn the microphone and camera off. It is possible to just record your audio as you advance the slides.Â
Hit the record button to start recording. Hit the record button to pause or stop recording. You can then re-record or save the video to your Drive. Your video length will determine the amount of time it takes to upload your video to Drive. Once in Drive, you can share your video.
