DEPARTMENT OF world languages & ESL

The New Providence School District is proud to offer a comprehensive and varied sequence of language. Students have the opportunity to study French, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish in high school, French and Spanish in middle school, and Spanish in elementary school.  English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are offered K-12.

Our is to communicate and teach a meaningful, innovative, and comprehensive curriculum that will engage, challenge, and inspire all students to become global citizens and leaders while cultivating a life-long appreciation and enthusiasm for languages and the cultures they reflect.
