Course Description

This hands-on course explores animal neuroscience and behavior in a variety of organisms through the lens of evolution. Students will study animal models and live specimens along with cutting-edge brain research to examine the mechanisms responsible for observed behaviors. Through their explorations, students will be able to evaluate the impact of genes and environment on brain development and learning as well as understand the resulting adaptive advantages for the organism.
