Fall Table Talk

Fall is coming to a close, and winter is right around the corner, so we asked Newington High School students what their favorite part of fall is and what they are looking forward to in winter!

Jacob M (Junior): “I hate the winter. I’m looking forward to Christmas and then being closer to summer. The best part of fall was being able to nap in the dark when I got home from school.”

Sahasra G (Senior): “I loved the football games this season, they are the best. I am excited for snow days and winter break.”

Kenna O (Senior): “I had a lot of fun as drum major for the marching band this football season, and I’m excited for all the fun senior events coming up!”

Sara B (Freshman): “I am excited for Christmas and winter break. I enjoyed the football games and the new experience of high school.”

Riley W (Sophomore): “My favorite part of fall was playing volleyball on the high school team. I’m excited for winter break.”

Victoria B (Senior): “My favorite part of fall was all the fall clothes shopping I got to do. I am most excited for Christmas and New Year's.

Paige M (Senior): “I really enjoyed Halloween this year and having all the fun fall experiences like seeing the scarecrows in Old Wethersfield and watching spooky movies. I am excited for the holidays coming up.”
