Welcome! My name is Mrs. Roth, and I am the librarian here at North Wales Elementary School. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Library Science Education from Kutztown University in December 2010 and my master’s degree in Library Science Education from Clarion University in August 2018. I am currently attending Kutztown University to pursue a master’s degree in Instructional Technology. Prior to joining the North Penn School District in August 2017, I served as an elementary librarian in the Gettysburg Area School District for six years.
I will do everything I can to instill a love of reading in my students. I have three mottos:
You don’t hate reading—you just haven’t found the right book yet.
Work hard, play hard!
Learn as you grow.
On a more personal note, I live in the Upper Perkiomen School District with my husband, Chuck, our two children, Chip and Conner, and our dog, Daisy. My favorite book series is The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer, my favorite TV show is I Love Lucy, and I’m obsessed with polka dots.
