The Nottoway County Emergency Squad provides 911 emergency medical services to the residents of Nottoway County in Virginia. Our service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations from the community for the equipment, training, and medical supplies required to serve. Our dedicated volunteers, who take pride in helping the community in which we live, have been "neighbors helping neighbors" since 1953.
Exemplary Service
Nottoway County Emergency Squad held its first annual Employee Appreciation Event on Saturday 5/27/23. The event was held on the last day of EMS appreciation week at Sandy River Distillery in Rice. Among the festivities, Nottoway County Emergency Squad awarded three employees with its highest honor award, 'Exemplary Service - Above and Beyond the Call of Duty'. Awards were presented by Squad Captain Ernest 'EB' Fisher (top photo, left) and Executive Director Angie Catron (top photo, center). Employees receiving the award were Danny LeSueur (top photo, right), Robert Price (bottom left), and Theodore 'Theo' Kreis (bottom right)!
