Preschool is an exciting time of growth and development in a child’s life. They are starting to learn more about the world around them. Gaining independence everyday as they make the transition away from toddlerhood. Each new experience presents a learning situation as they begin to form their own identity. Preschoolers learn about sharing with others, grow their cooperative play skills, increase their early academic skills, increase their speech and language skills and actively improve their fine motor skills. Our Nottingham Preschool program aims to nurture this development on a daily basis.
We are located within the Nottingham School building in Nottingham, NH. Our preschool is an Early Childhood Program that has a 50/50 ratio of neurodiverse to neurotypical children. Two sessions are held Monday through Thursday with 3 year old children attending during the AM session(8:45-11:15) while 4 year old children attend during the PM session(11:15-1:45). Peer model children are enrolled via a lottery system. Daily session enrollment is capped at 12 to ensure low student to teacher ratio. Our daily staff includes one Certified Special Educator and Paraprofessional. A Speech/Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and Behavior Specialist visit the classroom on a weekly basis.
