Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is integrated into everything we do at Nottingham School. It isn't a worksheet, a lesson plan, or even a book...it is how we learn and contribute to our school community. SEL is evident in the relationships we make, the work habits we develop, and the way we manage and grow from challenges both in and out of the classroom. During the 2022-2023 school year, we will be focusing on the K.N.I.G.H.T.S. Community Standards, which were developed with student input throughout the last year. Knights are Kind, Necessary, Inclusive, Grateful, Hardworking, Trustworthy, and Safe, and these attributes are cornerstones of our SEL work.
