How are counselors reaching out to students?

High School-

  • HS Guidance office has sent a wealth of mental health awareness videos and material to students as well as student surveys requesting feedback through their Google accounts.

  • Ms. Kostich (Red Oak) is still working with her students remotely.

Middle School-

      • School counselors have been hosting open and individual meetings on Zoom. They are responding to emails, phone calls and have posted information to their MS webpage. Small groups that were scheduled with Mrs. McDonnell and Ms. Lesko will continue as planned using the platform, Zoom.

      • Ms. Gogolek (Red Oak) continues to meet virtually with her students.

      • 504 and IEP conferences are being held via Zoom and Google Hangouts.

NES-

      • Mrs. School has provided SEL material available online located in the “counselor corner” section of the NES webpage (videos, activities)

      • Mrs. School will also reach out through grade level emails, personal emails, phone calls, and possibly opportunities via Google Hangout

      • Mrs. Simmons (Red Oak) will contact individual students via phone, email and or video conference

Primary-

      • Mrs. School has provided SEL material available online located in the “counselor corner” section of the Norton Primary webpage (videos and activities)

      • Mrs. School will also reach out through personal emails, phone calls, and possibly opportunities via Google Hangout.

      • Mrs. Ward (Red Oak) will contact individual students via phone, email and or video conference
