Google Gemini is one of the best and fully paid for AI Tools available to our teaching staff. It is the backbone of many other AI Tools provided by Google. It can help with lesson plan creation, image generation, text simplification, Re-leveling text, rubric generation, quiz generation and many other options.
Google Gemini is now linked directly into Google Classroom and can be found directly in the left hand navigation of Google Classroom.
MagicSchool AI is a comprehensive, education-focused platform designed to help K-12 educators automate administrative tasks, personalize learning, and build AI literacy among students. It is often described as a "one-stop shop" for AI in education, featuring over 130 specialized tools.
Lesson & Content Generation: Automatically creates lesson plans, informational texts, and decodable passages tailored to specific grade levels.
Assessment Tools: Generates rubrics, multiple-choice quizzes, and questions based on YouTube videos or uploaded texts.
Administrative Support: Assists with writing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), report card comments, and professional emails.
Differentiation: Features like the Text Leveler allow teachers to take a single piece of content and adapt it for different reading levels instantly.
Raina (AI Chatbot): A specialized instructional coach that helps teachers brainstorm ideas and refine educational materials.

Brisk Teaching is primarily a Chrome Extension designed to live directly inside the tools you already use, such as Google Docs, Slides and Classroom.
Feedback & Grading: Brisk can scan a student's Google Doc and provide "Glow & Grow" feedback (strengths and areas for improvement) directly in the comments.
Inspect Writing: One of its most unique features, this allows you to watch a "video" playback of a student's entire writing process in Google Docs. It helps you see how an essay evolved and flags potentially AI-generated or copy-pasted content.

AI Detection Tools
GPTZero The free version allows for up to 10,000 words per month. Its greatest strength is the "Writing Report"—if a student uses their Chrome extension while writing, it can verify that the document was typed over time rather than pasted instantly.
QuillBot AI Detector: Completely free to use with no account required for basic scans. It has been rated highly in 2026 for its accuracy in catching text from the latest models like GPT-5 and Gemini 2.0.
Scribbr: A free, academic-focused scanner that doesn't require a sign-up. It is powered by Turnitin’s underlying technology, giving you a "lite" version of professional-grade detection for individual essays
Securly Classroom - While not an AI Detection tool per se, this allows educators to actively monitor screens to ensure that no AI tools may be utilized during an assignment that does not warrant the use of AI to be used.
