Infinite Campus 

Infinite Campus is our district's student information system.  It is quite comprehensive and has a vast array of modules to use.  Two of the most important for you to learn would be the attendance and gradebook modules.   It is best to familiarize yourself with these tools by contacting Melissa Mathurin in the Technology Office.

• Teaching Center - The Teaching Center provides a hub for a variety of common teacher tasks. Current-day attendance and assignments to be scored are sorted by period.

Google 101 (Gmail and Drive)

Gmail and Google Drive are two tools you will use daily in your work here at NSPS.  It is important to have a strong working knowledge of these two tools.  Please refer to the resources listed below for each of these tools and book an appointment for assistance if needed.   

North Smithfield Public Schools has developed a Brand Style Guide to standardize our signage and communications district wide.  You have been given a NSPS email address and should create an automatic signature for your emails using this NSPS Brand Style Worksheet guide as a reference.

GCN Training

With over 150 tutorials, Global Compliance Network has an ever-growing number of tutorials covering a broad range of topics from Health & Safety to Policies and Regulations. 

All staff members are required to complete a series of GCN training sessions every year.  Be on the look out for an email for details on how to watch and complete these training sessions.  If you have questions about these trainings be sure to contact our office. 

Printing

In most cases you can print from your windows desktop to any printers in your building.   If you feel as if you are missing a printer connection you can always fill our a service request and we can install one for you.   

We highly encourage all staff to print to the larger Konica copiers whenever possible as they are much more cost effective.   You can also securely print documents to the larger Konica copiers using the secure print function on these copiers.  Watch this short video tutorial below.

Classroom Amplification

A majority of our classrooms come equipped with a speaker and microphone system.  They are generally quite easy to use and just need to turn on the speaker with the toggle switch in the back and then turn on the fully charged wireless receiver and transmitter.

CLEVER

Clever offers our students and teachers a single dashboard to easily log in to all of our academic enrichment applications without having to remember a username and password for all of these resources.  The visit our Clever Portal page click the link below.
