The tips and tricks to getting the perfect shot

The Supreme Selfie

We all know how to take a selfie on our phones. but what you may not know is how to take a selfie on your Chromebook.

  • Step one: Press the search button on the left side of the keyboard.
  • Step two: Click on the camera icon.
  • Step three: If the camera already isn't facing you, click the rotate button in the bottom left-hand corner.
  • Step four: Click the grey button in the middle bottom of the screen and....

Magic! You've officially taken a selfie!

The Perfect Pic

To take a picture on your Chromebook is just like taking a selfie. But instead of switching the camera around, like you would when you take a selfie, fold your Chromebook in half (the other way, not so it turns off) and take the picture that you want. If you need to turn around the camera again, then press the rotate button in the bottom-left corner to turn the camera. To see your photos or selfies, click search, then the camera. After that press the circle in the bottom-right hand corner.

The Trick to the Best Video

The trick to the best video is to not do it with your hands while using your Chromebook. Instead, set it up on a table where it will get the same footage as it would while holding it. To do that, just bend it back so it is halfway down to the position you would have it in to take a picture. Then find a good, hard, surface nearby, and put the Chromebook on the surface. Then adjust to get the perfect film!

The Superb Screenshot

Taking screen shots on the Chromebook is simple. All you have to do is hold ctrl and the button that has a rectangle and two lines on it. If you don't want take a screen shot of the whole screen, but just a certain area, press ctrl, shift, and the same button with the rectangle and two lines. Next, find the + on the screen and drag it over to the corner of what you want a picture of. Then highlight it and release the mouse.(You need to hold it down as soon as you start highlighting.) Then if you want to access your screen shot, press the search button. Then click files, then recent.

Chromebook

Turns out that it's not just a Chromebook

The Chromebook keyboard can function as many, many different things. Let me introduce you to them all.

The Incredible Ipad

Turns out that the Chromebook can become an Ipad. If you fold the Chromebook completely it becomes an Ipad. Then if you want to you can turn it sideways to make it look more like an Ipad.

The Terrific Tent

The Chromebook also has something called tent position. It's when you fold it halfway between Ipad and Chromebook then turn it so the Chromebook keyboard is on the table or the surface you are on. Or you could put it so the keyboard is facing away from you.

The Casual Chromebook

The of course there has to be the casual Chromebook. This position is the normal position that you would type in. This position looks like your standard laptop, but of course has the same touch screen as the others.
