NNHS Band Members of the Class of 2025

The band returned to the field in the Fall of 2021 with the show, Espana. With the Class of 2025, entering the ranks. They would quickly learn their place in marching band, where a smaller band, meant EVERYONE was in the spotlight. The band participated in the following in the 2021 season:

Grand Champion

1st place overall 2A

1st place 2A in 5 other categories. 

The Class of 2025 became leaders in their Junior year and performed Ouroborus. Appearances and Accolades included:

-ECU Band Day

-White Oak Band Classic- 1st place 1A overall, 1st place Music, 1st place General Effect, 1st place Visual Performance, 3rd place Percussion, 3rd place Colorguard.

-Panther Band Classic (Pasquotank)- 1st place Class 1A Band overall, 1st place Visual Ensemble, 1st place Visual Performance, 1st place General Effect.

-Greene Central Band Day- 1st place Class 1A Band overall, 1st place Visual Performance, 1st place Music, 1st place General Effect, 2nd place percussion.

-Crystal Coast Band Classic (Havelock)- 1st place Class 1A Band overall, 1st place Visual Ensemble, 1st place Percussion, 1st place Music Performance, 1st place Visual Performance, 1st place General Effect. 6th place in Finals competition. 

The Class of 2025 welcomed a new band director in the Fall of 23. Membership was still relatively small.

-Topsail Pirate Classic- October 21, 2023- 3rd place class 1A, 1st place Visual Effect, 3rd place General Effect, 1st place Music, 3rd place Drum Major

-Crystal Coast Band Classic (Havelock)- October 28, 2023- 2nd place class 1A, 2nd place General Effect, 2nd place Visual Performance, 1st place Music Performance, 1st place Percussion, 3rd place Visual Ensemble

Fall of 2024 brought the largest Freshman Class of Marching Knights in several years, moving the band into Class 2A for all competitions.

-Cleveland Critique and Competition- September 28, 2024- 

-Marching Rams Invitational, Rolesville High School- October 12, 2024- 2A Colorguard- 3rd Place, 2A Drum Major- 3rd place

-Drums Along the Blue Ridge, Bassett High School- October 19, 2024- 3rd place Class 2A, 2nd place Class 2A Colorguard. Advanced to Finals Round. 11th place band Finals, 9th in Music.

-Greene Central Band Day- October 26, 2024- 1st place Class 2A, 1st place Music 2A, 1st place Visual, 1st place General Effect, 2nd place Drum Major
