Timeline

Fall:

• Add/Drop Deadline

  • Deadline to change full-year and first semester electives: Sept. 12, 2025

  • Deadline to drop for academic misplacement: Oct. 17, 2025

  • Deadline to drop a 2nd semester course for a study or a different 2nd semester course: October 31, 2025 

• PSAT is offered in October to those that have registered

• Post-Secondary Planning Family Night

  • Information session: Thinking about life after high school

Winter:

• Junior Group Meeting

  • Meet with your counselor to go over registering with Scoir, how to run a college search, and begin adding colleges to your list

  • Begin registering for SAT/ACT

    • See Testing Information for more details

• Elective Exploration Day

  • -Explore 3 electives you are interested in 

• Curriculum Guide is updated annually in December

• Teachers make recommendations for next year's placement levels

Spring:

• Junior Conference

  • Individualized meeting with your counselor and parents

  • Detailing the next steps in the post-secondary planning process

• Individual meetings with your counselor for next year's schedule 

• Appeal Deadline: TBD (March of 2026)

  • Last day to appeal for a different level

Summer:

• Submit Student Self-Description, Activity Guide, and Parent Brag Sheet via Scoir

• Begin writing college essay on the Common App
