The North Butler FFA Chapter stands as a proud reflection of the agriculture that sustains our community. Built on a tradition of hard work, determination, and service, our chapter continues to grow through the dedication of its members. We provide a place where students can expand their agricultural education, discover new opportunities, and develop lifelong skills. Through hands-on learning and leadership experiences, we shape young people into well‑rounded, confident leaders with a genuine passion for agriculture.
The North Butler FFA Chapter was chartered in 2018, but our history doesn't start there. The Allison-Bristow FFA Chapter was first chartered in 1979.
In 1989, the Northern Butler County FFA Chapter was chartered as a shared program between Allison-Bristow and Greene High Schools. This chapter was led by Advisor Rick Meyer until it dissolved in 1997.
From 2012-2018, North Butler shared an FFA program with Rockford. The Advisor was Jym Hansen.
North Butler was rechartered as an independent chapter in 2018. Its first Advisor was Frank Kisley, who served from 2018-2020.
Our chapter is guided by our advisor, Jodie Johnson, whose leadership and passion for agricultural education help our members grow every day. Under her direction, we stay active through competitions, conferences, community service projects, and hands‑on agricultural learning. Whether we’re serving our community or building new skills, Ms. Johnson helps inspire us to work hard, stay involved, and lead with purpose.
