Our FFA chapter plays a hands‑on role in supporting the county fair each year, helping bring the event to life from behind the scenes to the show ring. Members assist with stage setup, livestock shows, and other fair operations that keep the week running smoothly. One of our favorite traditions is “Barnyard Buddies,” an agricultural education program where we teach young children about farm animals, agriculture, and the importance of caring for the world around them. Through these activities, our chapter helps create a fun, educational, and welcoming fair experience for families across the community.
Twice a year, the North Butler FFA Chapter serves our community by cleaning a stretch of Highway 14. We head out every spring and fall, and each time brings a new set of memories. From stashing the funny little “treasures” we find in our advisor’s car to the long conversations we share along the road, this tradition always brings our chapter closer together. It also shows how dedicated we are to giving back and keeping the roads in our home community clean.
Each spring, the North Butler FFA Chapter comes together to celebrate our year of accomplishments at our annual chapter banquet. This special evening is dedicated to recognizing members who have excelled in contests, earned new FFA degrees, and demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout the year. We also proudly install our newly elected officer team, marking the start of another year of growth and service. Our banquet is more than an awards night, it’s a chance to honor hard work, reflect on our chapter’s achievements, and look forward to the future of North Butler FFA.
