Mrs. Spillson

Hi, my name is Mary Spillson and I am going on my fourth year in District 28 and have been assisting for 6 years now. I absolutely LOVE working in elementary education as I truly enjoy helping students grow academically in their school environment. 

My husband Jim and I live in Mount Prospect with two wonderful children, Peter and Ana. Peter is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee, studying Biology on  the pre-med track. Ana is a senior at Hersey High School and has been playing volleyball since 5th grade. 

I am the oldest of three siblings, one brother and a sister. I have 6 nieces and nephews, which are all close in age and I enjoy every moment of being their aunt. 

I enjoy reading in my spare time, taking care of my flowers, travelling to new places and spending quality time with my family. 

I am really looking forward to a wonderful year in your second grade class and at Meadowbrook.
