2022-2023 FRC Packets

Packets for returning students were accepted back already. If there is a form you forgot to fill out you may hand that at an FRC site. As far as health forms go, please submit any updated forms or else we will transfer the ones from this year to next.

Drop off & Pick up Protocols

Drop off:
- Please escort your child(ren) to the FRC entrance.
- An FRC staff member will greet you at the door and hand you a clipboard to sign in your child(ren) with your initial.

Pick up:
- Parents/guardians must come up to the FRC door.- The child(ren) you're coming to pick up will then be called.
- You will be handed a clipboard to sign out your child(ren) with your initial.
- You will then escort your child(ren) to your vehicle.

Reminder:

-We can NOT allow kids to walk themselves to your car due to safety reasons.
- Please tell anyone else you have authorized of these practices and if needed their ID for us to release to.

Early Dismissals

Most months have 2 half days on Wednesdays. On these days FRC opens up early and if your child/children are supposed to attend on those days, they will come directly to us. We still close at 5:30pm.

June: 15th

Gum

Gum is not allowed in school nor in FRC. If we see a student with it (without specific directions from administration) he or she will be asked to spit it out.

Pokemon Cards

Pokemon is NOT allowed at FRC as well. Please have your child keep their cards at home as it always leads to trouble.

(Principal Carter officially warned about keeping Pokemon cards at home in his email sent out 3/25/22 at TVES.)

Chromebooks/Tablets

Unfortunately we can not allow usage of Chromebooks or personally owned tablets, keyboards, etc. while at FRC. Please advise your child/children to keep these items at home or in their backpacks. If we see these items out they will be asked to put them away.

Pop-its

We are aware that many kids own and bring their pop-its to school and FRC. There has been instances of kids trading and or giving them to another student then wanting it back. These items are meant for personal use and then should stay in their backpacks. These are not to be thrown around the room as well. May I also recommend writing names or initials on them to ensure they get back to their rightful owners.

Potential Bad Weather Scenarios

Cancellation

If school is cancelled, there is NO FRC as well!

2-Hour Delay

If there is a 2-hour delay, FRC will open at 9am (not 7) and run until school starts.

Early Dismissal

If there is an early dismissal, ALL AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELLED and this includes FRC. Your child will need to be picked up if not able to take an already designated bus home.
