Basic Help
If you are experiencing issues such as keys that are not working, a suddenly low battery, a battery that seemingly will not charge, a screen that will not load properly, or if you receive an error saying that ChromeOS cannot be found, try the steps below.
Turn your Chromebook off either by clicking the "Sign Out" button and choosing "Power Off" or by holding the power button until the screen turns black
Turn the Chromebook back on while holding the refresh key. Do NOT let go of the refresh key until the log in screen appears. This is called a "Hard Reset".
If your problem still is not fixed, try another hard reset. Some issues take multiple hard resets
Sometimes a hard reset will require your Chromebook to be plugged in
