Get Notified When Changes are Made to a Google Sheet

Some Google Forms are easy to manage: you set out the form, tell people they have 1 week to fill it out, close the form, and analyze the data. But some forms are ongoing and don't have a clear end date. For example, I have a form my colleagues can fill out when they are looking for an app or program for class and can't find one or don't have the time to search for it. (You can access that form here.) In those instances, I need a way of knowing when someone fills out the form so that I don't keep them waiting. Without notifications or checking the form everyday I wouldn't know when someone had requested support.

By setting up a notification within Google Sheets, you can be emailed whenever a change is made to the form or when a new entry is made.

Video walk-through is 1min.

Here is an excerpt from the Google Docs Support Page on how to set up these notifications. You can find the full article and other links here.
