Performing intricate a cappella arrangements, this group showcases exceptional musicianship, artistry, and a passion for jazz. Membership in this group is defined by students who are skilled in jazz rhythms, pitch, and jazz style. This group rehearses at 7am Oct. - March.

The Preparatory Jazz Choir is the perfect ensemble for developing confidence and essential jazz skills in rhythm and style. Designed for emerging vocalists, this group provides a supportive environment to grow as musicians while preparing for high-level performance opportunities. Rehearsing from November to March, the choir competes at the state jazz contest and showcases its talent in home concerts.
