Chromebooks are a required classroom resource this year. It is important that we follow some important rules and demonstrate respect and good citizenship in regards to having the privilege of using a Chromebook in our classroom. Here is our classroom Chromebook pledge:
As a student at Nativity of Our Lord School, I have the opportunity to use a Chromebook in class. I promise to abide by the following procedures to keep this privilege:
- I will always use the Chromebook as a learning tool.
- I will always carefully use the Chromebook.
- I will always log in to the Chromebook and network as myself.
- I will always treat others and their ideas with respect when working online.
- I will always close and carry my Chromebook with two hands when moving from one area to another.
- I will always keep water and food off of my desk when using a Chromebook.
- I will only use my school email for school purposes.
- I will always promptly close my Chromebook when my teacher asks me to.
- I will always inform my teacher if there is a problem with my Chromebook.
- I will always log off and shut down my Chromebook at the end of the session.
- I will always carefully put away my Chromebook at the end of the session.
