At NHS, each student is assigned a dedicated counselor who will work with them from freshman through senior year. Counselors are assigned based on students' last names, ensuring continuity and personalized support throughout their high school journey. This structure helps build strong, lasting relationships and allows counselors to better understand and guide each student’s academic, personal, and college/career planning.
