What I like to do: spend time with my family 👨👩👧👦, read "cozy mysteries,"📚, zip-line, kayak🛶, cross-stitch, walk 🐾🐶, ride a bicycle 🚴♀️, practice languages💬, learn languages, try new foods😋, attend world language and teaching conferences, and learn about technology I can use with students in the classroom 👩💻.
What bothers me: laziness , refusing to try.
4 Quotes I like:

"There is too much hurt in this world for us to hate each other." ---Mr. E. "Trey" Rawls ☮️
Favorite foods and drinks: chicken or shrimp alfredo 🍲, ramen 🍜, 🍕 nachos, buffalo wings, salads, Hershey’s 🍫, Heath toffee, coffee ☕tea.
My strengths: believing in my students, seeing the best in them, learning new tech tips to share, and helping people learn how to study. I happily teach ALL of my students. I accept my students for who YOU are, and I hope to help you be as successful as possible. We are a beautiful bag of Skittles — different flavors, but all part of the same team.
Music 🎧: I listen to a lot of different styles: 80s, 90s, EDM, La Kueva, the Blend, Radio Margaritaville, BPM, Chill.... My family and I attended the Weird Al Yankovic concert in 2015 at the CNU Ferguson Center for the Arts. My husband and I saw Jimmy Buffett with our daughter in July 2019, and he and I went again in 2022. My husband and I saw Matchbox 20 and Matt Nathanson this summer.
A funny quirk: I am completely comfortable in a crowded pep rally with my students and colleagues. I freeze/panic a bit when I walk into a mall or an amusement park. I was thrilled to try a zip line in Pigeon Forge, but I get nervous when boarding a roller coaster.
I sponsor a club: Patriot Games (our board and card game club) 🎲 🎴 🐉
