Days: Monday - Thursday

Hours: Average 20 per week 

• 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

Work Location:  Gildersleeve Middle School, 1 Minton Dr., Newport News, VA 23606

Job Description: 

• Assist teachers with planning and organization of instructional materials

• Work with students as they complete assignments

• Make copies for teachers, as needed

Special Skills Required: 

• Good knowledge of English skills 

• Well-spoken 

• Strong writer 

•  Enjoys working with middle school students

• Comfortable with holding conversations with students, teachers

Special Attire or Equipment Needed: Dress pants (black/blue/khaki) and a nice shirt, Comfortable shoes, Must also follow NNPS dress code.

Compensation Information: $10.40 per hour
