Did celebrities really follow this year's Met Gala theme? Based on what we have seen, clearly not. Read on to find out who did or didn’t.

The Met Gala was at the Metropolitan of Art Museum in New York this year. For this very special event they are only able to attend if they are invited by a famous journalist, Anna Wintour. Currently she is the editor in chief for Vogue The purpose of the Met Gala is to fundraise money for a Costume Institute Museum. The person who came up with the idea of the Met Gala is Eleanor Lambert, she was an American Fashion Publicist. The first ever Met Gala was in 1948.

This year's Met Gala Theme was “Gilded Glamour.¨ The inspiration for this theme is from New York's Gilded Age, which ran from the 1870s to the early 1900s. The outfits from this year were very interesting. Not many people who attended the Met Gala followed the theme and just went with whatever they wanted. A person who followed the theme was Billie Ellish. She wore a custom Gucci ivory duchess satin corseted gown with a green lace underlay and gathered ivory skirt. She claims that her dress was fully up-cycled and said that she just wanted to be very eco-friendly as possible.

Seeing that many outfits were interesting , we decided to take a vote on who had the best outfits. The choices were SZA, Kylie, Kendall Jenner, Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, Billie Eillish, Olivia Rodrigo,Lizzie, and Bad Bunny. The winner of this vote was SZA! She wore a hot pink strapless dress with a huge black hat. The person who made her dress was Vivienne Westwood. She is an English fashion designer and businesswoman. Currently she is running one of the last independent global luxury fashion brands.

Another outfit that stood out was Kylie Jenner. She wore a dramatic, white, ruffled skirt and a draped bodice. Most people say, including herself, that this dress gave bridal vibes. She wore this dress because she and her friend, fashion designer Virgil Abloh, were supposed to match at the Met Gala in 2020. But, because of the pandemic, it was postponed. He couldn´t attend in 2021 because he had cancer and didn't want to risk his safety. In 2022 he passed away from cancer, and Kylie stated that, ¨To celebrate V tonight and his incredible legacy truly means the world to me. I'm humbled to wear this dress and honor my talented beautiful friend. We felt you tonight Virgil and love you forever.¨

What happened to Thor after Endgame? Well, now you can find out in the new Marvel movie “Thor: Love and Thunder.” This movie is about Thor trying to find inner peace after the Endgame battle with Thanos.

The Villain for the movie is Gorr the God of Butcher. His goal is to kill every single God because he hates them and wants to have all the power. We don’t know how many Gods he killed, but we are sure he killed quite a bit because as you might know Gorr is extremely powerful and according to the comics he becomes as powerful as the god he kills.

People might be asking, is the new movie going to be as accurate as the comics? Well, actually yes! Most all MCU movies are based on the actual comics. The Thor movie will be as well! The only difference from the comics is that the characters for the Guardians of the Galaxy are going to be in the movie and are in a way friends with Thor.

The new Thor movie will also give Thor a love interest! They are bringing back Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). Thor will be fighting for the love he has for her as well as fighting against Gorr.

When will the movie come out? The movie will come out June 8, 2022. The movie can only be watched in a cinema. If you're anything like us you'd start saving up your money!

As many like to say, Jurassic World will never end. Well, that might be true as another movie will be released very soon. Directed and produced by Colin Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael, Jurassic World: Dominion is on the rise. The movie stars Chris Pratt, Bryce D. Howard, Sam Neill, and Laura Dern as the main advocates.

The general plot of the movie is something never seen before. The movie takes place four years after Fallen Kingdom, and dinosaurs are on the loose in the human cities. Two generations come together to save the world. People and prehistoric creatures clash and the outcome will reshape the future.

It was filmed in many different places, such as British Columbia, the U.K, and Malta. The movie will be released June 10th in theaters such as Regal Edwards Metro Pointe and Starlight Triangle Cinemas. It will also be released for streaming sometime in October.

Jurassic World: Dominion is said to be the breaking ground in prehistoric creatures and human interaction. Everyone’s coming together in the end, but how will the consequences play out?

Are you a big fan of the Minions Movies? Well, then this article is for you.

The Rise of Gru is coming out in theaters July 1st, 2022. The Rise of Gru is about how Gru grows up and becomes a villain. He outsmarts his boss who is Wild knuckles and he and his minions become powerful. It's the prequel to the Despicable Me movies.

Some of the characters are wild knuckles , voiced by Alan Arkin. Taraji D. Henson, she voices Belle Bottom and she is part of the vicious 6 villain group. Jean Claud Van Damme voices Jean Clawed, who is a member of the vicious 6 as well and is also the main antagonist. Russell Brand voices Dr. Nerfario, who is a scientist and eventually became Gru’s assistant. Julie Andrews voices Gru’s mom.

I interviewed Aisleen Avalos and asked if she will be watching the movie. She said, “ Yes, because I am a big fan of minion movies, and I've watched all the movies. I am really excited about this one.”

While the title may lead you to think this is another ¨Toy Story¨ remake, it isn't. While it is called ¨Lightyear¨ and is about Buzz Lightyear, it is kind of like the background/origin of the human Buzz. In the Toy Story universe, he would have inspired the toy of Buzz Lightyear. It could also be like a movie that the characters/toys from Toy Story could watch..

It is going to be released to theaters/cinemas on June, 17th 2022. It is directed by Angus Maclane: He co-directed Finding Dory and directed the mini films from Pixar(Burn-E, Small Fry, Toy story of terror). It will be released to theaters before showing up on streaming services. The movies main characters are: Chris Evans as Buzz lightyear, James Brolin as Zurg, Taika Waititi as Mo Morrison, Keke Palmer as Izzy Hawthorne,Peter Sohn as Sot, Uzo Aduba as Alisha Hawthorne, Dale Scules as Darby Steel, and Efren Ramirez as Diaz.

The movie will take place on a planet 4.2 million lightyears away from earth. It is about Buzz on a Space adventure with his commander and their crew on another planet. Itś not specified what year the movie is set in, but Angus Maclane said, ¨I actually feel like this movie might be early '80s, late '70s,¨

It is coming to cinemas soon. Will you be watching it?

Are you in love with Stranger Things? Well, you're going to want to read this article. Stranger Things is a horror and drama series about teenagers exploring and playing their favorite board game, Dungeons and Dragons. One of the teens went home and stumbled across a figure that made him run off into the woods. Later on his friends went out looking for him and found a multiverse infested with monsters. Russian people are opening the doorway so the monsters can crawl into the regular world. The teens make traps, and Eleven, aka Millie Bobby Brown, closes the doorway with her telekinesis.

On May 27, 2022, season 4 volume 1 will be released and fans will enjoy 9 episodes in total of 2 volumes. It takes place in Kamchatka, Russia. There are two new characters, Nikola Djuricko, and Tom Wlaschiha. There will only be one more season, season 5, just around the corner.

Need something to watch that will make your heart stop? Heartstopper is a series on Netflix that follows two boys falling in love and all of the moments in between and after. Heartstopper came out on April 22nd of 2022 and is based off of a graphic novel/comic series made by Alice Oseman.

The main characters are Kit Connor as Nick Nelson, Joe Locke as Charlie Spring, Yasmin Kinney as Elle Argent, Will Gao as Tao Xu, Cormac Hyde-Corrin as Harry Greene, Sebastian Croft as Ben Hope, Corinna Brown as Tara Jones, and Kizzy Edgel as Darcy Olson. It takes place in England or more specifically in Herne Bay, Kent.

We asked Sarah Martinez and Bruce Hernandez what they thought of the show. They enjoyed it and both loved it. They also said they’d watch it again many times.

Bruce liked the representation and music. He has read all of the graphic novels and believes they’re better than the show. His favorite episode was Episode 5, and he liked when Nick fought Harry for making fun of Charlie. When asked his favorite character he said, “Nick is my favorite character because he’s cute.”

Sarah likes the acting, visuals, story, and inclusion of the book. Sarah’s favorite episode is Episode 3, and her favorite moment is when Tara and Darcy come out to everyone when they kiss at Harry’s party. She is in the process of reading the graphic novels and agrees with Bruce. Sarah’s favorite character is Darcy because she’s funny and I like her style and hair.”

Also, Season 2 and 3 were confirmed so we will all be staying tooned for those in the future.

At first they accused the man and now they are accusing the woman. Here's why. Amber Heard accuses Johnny Depp of abuse,and she filed for divorce. A trial started on April 11, 2022 after Amber filed for a 100 million dollar counterclaim against Depp. Back in 2016 Johnny and Amber got divorced after being married for 15 months. Two years later in 2018, Amber wrote an article stating that Depp abused her. This led to Johnny sueing Heard for 50 million dollars. Since it’s illegal to post about being abused from another person to the public without proof. Amber claims the abuse to be true and is now suing Johnny back for 100 million today in court.

Heard doesn’t have enough real evidence and support to prove she was abused by Johnny. Throughout the trial people pointed out that Amber was copying Depp’s outfits that he wore. On live tv she was caught fake crying and acting strange. She has a past with cocaine and in one of the trial days she was accused of taking some while sniffing a tissue.

In 2009 they met on set of the Rum Diary. Johnny Depp is a famous actor who has appeared in many popular movies and Amber Heard is an American actress. They both have successful careers throughout their lifetime so far, and Heard is to be part of Aquaman 2.

Today was Johnny’s last day on the stand and the case is coming to an end. Both Heard and Depp are wrapping up their allegations. Who do you think will win the trial?

Did you know boxing is the oldest known sport today? Boxing has been around since the 3rd millennium bce. The boxing world has created new techniques across countries and has impacted many aspiring boxers from scholarships to funding foundations.

One very important and well known boxer is Canelo Alvarez. He is big in the latin community more specifically Mexicans. Canelo's career has been well accomplished and supported among many and he had a big and well awaited fight on May 7th, 2022. His competitor was Dmitry Bivol, a well known Russian boxer. Most of the viewers/fans were eager to see Canelo win the fight, but the outcome was disappointing to Canelo supporters.

The winner of the fight was Bivol. The fight took place in the T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight lasted approximately 30 minutes and the scores were 152 (Bivol´s) - 84 (Canelo´s) This fight had many opinions among fans and supporters because of the passionate viewers upset that their favorite boxer lost.

We asked Lucky Rodriguez, (a student on campus who boxes) opinions about the fight. Lucky Rodriguez is a new student here at Tewinkle Middle School and came from Las Vegas. He started boxing because he found it interesting, a great source of activeness, and releases stress. He said, ¨I got into boxing because I wanted to try something new, and I really liked the energy it gave me, so I've continued to do it.¨ Lucky went for Canelo and was disappointed in the results. He expressed, ¨I wanted Canelo to win, when I saw he lost I was upset, disappointed, and felt bad for him.¨

Although the outcome of the fight wasn't what some fans wanted, we are proud of Bivol for his win. Hopefully, in Canelo's next fight he can pull through and come out with a great win!!
