Hi! Welcome to Shining Stars! My name is Ciara Dunlea and I am one of the Shining Stars teachers here in New Milford! While I have been working with children for as long as I can remember, my formal training began at The University of Scranton where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master’s Degree in Special Education. I had the opportunity to visit many different types of classrooms and learn from many amazing teachers. Now, I am in my fifth year teaching Special Education. I love watching the students light up as they learn new things. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts, watching Hallmark movies, country music, and cooking. I can’t wait to work with you and your child!

Ms. Sharret has three children of her own and has always wanted to work with young children. She has over ten years of teaching experience and her background is in general and special education, specifically in the developmental delay of early learners.
