The New Mexico National Board Certified Teacher Network began in 2001. A group of National Board Certified Teachers and other educational leaders met and envisioned a statewide network of National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) working tegether to advance the work of National Boards in New Mexico.
VISION
A future where every student in New Mexico is taught by an accomplished teacher, and where National Board Certification is the standard of professional excellence, supported across all educational institutions.
MISSION
The New Mexico NBCT Network elevates the teaching profession by increasing the number of National Board Certified Teachers and transforming classrooms and communities across the state.
