The NM NBCT Network's Annual Conference brings educators together for a full day of professional learning, connection, and celebration in support of National Board Certification. Held from 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, the conference features breakout sessions led by NBCTs and partners, covering certification components, candidate support strategies, and topics relevant to accomplished teaching practice. Both breakfast and lunch are included. The conference offers flexible attendance options to maximize access: $100 for in-person attendance (includes breakfast and lunch) and $50 for virtual participation.

Attendance at these meetings is strongly encouraged, they will NOT be recorded.
You will also be assigned to a Small Group Cohort that will be facilitated by a trained Professional Learning Facilitator. Your PLF will meet with your small group cohort monthly from November-May to guide your work and answer questions. Your PLF will also collect your writing and give you individualized feedback on Components 2, 3, and/or 4 or MOC.
PLF support will be for ONE NBPTS candidate cycle only.

On select Saturdays throughout the school year the Network offers workshops for initial, retake and MOC candidates. The benefits of these workshops include clarifying directions, getting all your questions answered, and collaborating with others. Workshops throughout the school year are focused on Components 2, 3 and 4 which have a submission deadline of mid May. Component 1 has a dedicated workshop on March 6 2027. The testing window for Component 1 is usually April to Mid-June.

One-Time Readings
Get trustworthy ethical feedback on your writing, starting in December. You'll upload a PDF of your draft and receive feedback based on the Level 4 rubric within one week. $60
