Professional Learning Facilitators PLFs

Want to give back to our profession?  Support teachers on their NBPTS journey and earn a generous compensation. 

Become a PLF and support candidates through the National Board process.  The Network offers a training program, coordinates candidate support across New Mexico.

Professional Learning Facilitator Trainings are for anyone interested in supporting teachers through the NBPTs process.  Teachers who have earned their National Board Certification have an advantage in becoming a PLF, but its not necessary to be a NBCT to be a successful PLF.  PLF training covers bias identification, support scenarios, connections to statewide teacher evaluation, requirements of ethical support, and adult learning strategies.
